Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what information DietitianAnna (Anna Sweeney, nutrition and body image coach, "I", "me", "my") collects when you visit www.dietitiananna.com, join my email list, or buy something from my shop, and how that information is used and protected.
I am a dietitian, but I am not your dietitian. Nothing on this website, in my emails or in my digital products is individual medical nutrition therapy or individualized treatment, and using them does not create a dietitian and client relationship.
What I collect
- Information you give me: your name and email address when you sign up for a free guide or my email list, and anything you choose to write when you email me.
- Purchase information: your name, email address and billing details when you buy a digital product. Payments are processed by Kajabi and its payment partners (such as Stripe and PayPal). I never see or store your full card number.
- Information collected automatically: like most websites, this site and its host (Kajabi) collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and how you arrived. Cookies and similar tools are used for this (see Cookies below).
How I use it
- To deliver what you asked for: the free guide, your purchase, and access to the products you bought.
- To send you my emails, including my Tuesday note, if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To answer you when you write to me.
- To understand how the site is used so I can make it better.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
Who I share it with
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. I share it only with the services that help me run this site, and only as much as they need to do their job:
- Kajabi: hosts this website, my shop, my forms and my digital products.
- Payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal): process your payment.
- Email service providers (Kajabi and Kit): send my emails.
I may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This site uses cookies, small files stored in your browser, to keep the site working (for example, your checkout and login), to remember your preferences, and to understand site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, like checkout, may not work without them.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, such as Instagram, podcast episodes and articles. I am not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies when you visit them.
Keeping your information safe
I use trusted, secure services to store and process your information. No method of sending or storing data online is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from my emails at any time with the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailing [email protected]. I will respond within 30 days.
- Some purchase records must be kept for tax and accounting reasons, even after a deletion request.
How long I keep it
I keep your information while you are on my email list or have access to a product, and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. After that, it is deleted.
Age
This site and its products are for humans 18 and older. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has given me their information, email me and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows the latest version. If a change is significant, I will let my email list know.
