A GUIDED JOURNAL FOR YOU AND YOUR EARTHSUIT
The Earthsuit Journal
A place for you and your body, in process and in relationship.
It's hard to have a body on this planet. The relationship you have with your body is the longest relationship you will ever have. This guide is designed to support you through today, tomorrow, and the weeks and months ahead.

Why I made this
Some of these reflections have been really powerful for me, living in a body that is unwell, disabled and evolving. They've changed the way I understand my earthsuit, my body, and left me feeling grounded. That's why I want you to have them.
Understand your story
Trace where your beliefs about your body began, who taught them to you, and which ones you still want to carry.
Meet yourself with care
Notice comparison, hear how you talk to yourself, and practice self-compassion with guided exercises.
Make room for your life
Get ready for body talk at the holiday table, and step into the new year without being asked to become someone new.
Ten sections to help you pause, reflect and practice.
Each section pairs a short teaching with a reflection and a guided exercise. Every reflection starts with Name It First, a space to put a word to what you're feeling before you write anything else.

Meet your body where it is today, and trace who taught you what to believe about it. Being taught something doesn't make it true.
Comparison and the language you use
Notice the moments you measure yourself against someone else, and hear how you talk to and about your body, with Kristin Neff's self-compassion practice to help you carry it.
Grief and staying
Make room for the grief that comes with having a body, and for the days when staying in it takes effort.
Authority and the manufactured body
Trust yourself over the noise of the wellness industry, and look clearly at GLP-1s, AI-edited images and what your feed is selling you.
The table and the new year
Words you can actually use for holiday and family body talk, and a new year that doesn't ask you to become a new you.
A look inside
Two glimpses from the journal

Naming a feeling calms the part of the brain that reacts before it thinks. One word is enough.

SECTION NINE
The Table And The Room
Family gatherings have a way of turning into body conversations even when nobody meant for that to happen. A comment about a plate, a compliment about weight loss, a joke about the holiday food, all of it lands on an earthsuit that already has enough to carry.
A boundary is not a rejection of everyone at that table. It is a form of self-care, the same as anything else in
